I just picked up this cool Lansing Horn Lens. I don't find much searching the model number 1217-1290. The Jim Lansing logo on this is very cool. Thought I would ask here.

What speakers did this go into?

How much to get another one?

What is the nomenclature for the serial number?

Any info much appreciated.

They show up on eBay from time to time keep looking. Cost??? What the market will bear! But for the horn only maybe $50~80.
They went into many different enclosures usually pared with D130 & a LE175 driver. They will take any JBL 1" driver. They have a 90 deg conical dispersion pattern.
A pair on the bay.

I paid $5 for this one. I dig the retro look. I'll keep looking for another. The D130 I am familiar with but I'm not as familiar with the cabs. There was a cool back loaded corner horn that had this masher with the D130. I'm a big fan of bass horns. What is the sound quality of the LE175/1217-1290?

Thanks for the info.

The second one will cost a bit more!:( Was it only the horn and no driver?
The sound is excellent, highly sought after.
Here is picture of the types on enclosures that were in use in the late 1950s early '60s.

Cabinet C31 is to my taste. As far as looks. Most of my speakers fit in corners lol...

There were no drivers and only one available. It was part of PWK's collection.

Perhaps I'll put together a mono system for the bedroom.

Thanks for the advert.
