Hi all
If I were to start collecting all the vintage 3-way JBL (monitor/bookshelf) speakers with 12" woofers and LE-5 mids, is there a complete list?

I know of these 4310, 4311, 4312, 4411, 4412

and L100, L112, L166

Is that it and is L166 the only odd one (since all the other ones seem related/twins)?

Thanks

Vernb

PS: I already have JBL Olympus S8R active, S7 (LE-15a & LE-85), JBL 4411 and Altec 19

The L166 was kind of odd I guess in that there was no direct Pro equivalent. The 4313 was the only Studio Monitor to use the 066.

The L112 and the 4411 are different even though the components are nearly the same. The 4411 used the more expensive edgewound LE5 and a more expensive network.

The 4412 and 120Ti are also different even though the components are nearly the same. The 120Ti used a more expensive 104 midrange and 044 tweeter as well as a different network.

L150A would qualify.

You are right the 4411 uses LE5-9 and L-112 uses LE5-12. 120TI (forgot about that one) uses 044ti, is the 4412 with 035 tweeter?

L150A would qualify.

well it would take quite a bookshelf , so sizewise and also the passive radiator sort of makes it a different kind of speaker.

Would you count the L65 Jubal? Not quite bookshelf, but the components could easily be put into a 4411-sized box if you wanted to.
