I recently acquired a pair of 813c monitors – unfortunately they have a few issues.

The cabinets are a bit rough. It looks like they were sitting for a few years on a cement floor. The chipboard on one of the sides is beginning to swell . Also a few corner dings from moving the beasts around. They are structurally sound and would still probably support the weight of a truck if needed.

One of the 2215H drivers is missing completely.

The two 801c are in nice shape and the other 2215H is fine – other than needing new foam. Good 813c crossovers.
I’m trying to determine the best for them going forward and am looking for advice.

Here are the choices I’m trying to decide between

Repair the cabinets and track down a replacement woofer.
Rebuild the networks as 811c (only a few capacitors and resistor differences) and build a new pair of 811c boxes
Build a more vertically oriented cabinet with just the 801c and reworked crossover – sort of a home version of the 811c
Part them out.
I’ve been reading the 813b (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?19953-Urei-813b-project)thread with interest, and am looking for advice from the Urei enthusiasts.
