L80ts

Noticing the thread below i have a chance to pick up a good pair of L80Ts locally. I don`t know what they should be going for though. Does anyone know what a pair are worth nowadays? Also what did they go for new in their day?
I would also appreciate comments as to their quality and sound as i don`t have any knowledge of these speakers.

The used price goes all over the place, depending on who's interested at any given time. Here's a set that didn't even go for the $199 asking price, though it does look like one woofer may have been worked on...

Sounds about right to me. I recall them selling for about $950 a pair, back when I sold them new in about 1987.

I picked up a pair on Ebay for $56 two weeks agoa, pretty good shape. I have never seen them sell that low before, but I see them between $100 and $200. They are nice speakers.
