i'm tryin to fing 4 d110f for my Super reverb, and i either can get k110 or d110f that have been reconned with the original k110 cone.

can someone tell me what difference i'll hear/notice/experience with the k110 vs the d110?

I have had several sets of D120f vs K120 but the K had a clearly different surround,, and i'm not sure if that is the case between the 110s.

please advise

Can't help about the sonic differences if any... the difference is the "K" series used kapton VC formers and newer glue technology so they could withstand more heat.

I suppose it is possible that it is like aluminum diaphragmed compression drivers vs. titanium... they do sound different, but in hard use one lasts and the other fails.
