At some point, it was reconed with an 8 Ohm, E130 cone kit.

Is the E-130 the current recone kit, or the 2220?

E-130 would be the current kit for both the K-130 or the D-130. The 2220 is a different animal... the cones may be similar, but the VCs are definitely different.

What would be the major differences between the D-130 and a E-130 as far as specs are concerned.

I know the D-130 has the alnico magnet vs the E-130 having the ferrite magnet, but would they theoretically sound similiar?
