Hi All, I have searched this site and the web looking for T/S paramiters for the 2441. Can't seem to find them. Can any one help? Cheers.

There were no published T/S parameters for the older compression drivers.

Why would they be needed anyway?

Hi,

it is not usual and not possible to get T/S parameters for low mass diaphragm drivers.....it's also not very helpful to get them for cone mids like LE5s.
It only makes sense for drivers where the mass of the cone system incl. the voice coil and the compliance of the air around this "mechanical motional system" can be measured or brought together with reactions of the impedance.

This is only the case with woofers !!!!

Check out the details of the based T/S values and you can see this,

have you this driver? if "yes" - you can measure :)
and why you need it? most peple don't... ;)

You need it for doing simulations with hornresp.

You need it for doing simulations with hornresp.Ok. I know that it was helpful 20 years ago with older simulators I just didn't know if anyone used such things anymore. Which parameters are needed by the sim?

electromechanical parameters. (hresp can calculate on basis of t\s)
and For CD
-rear chamber volume
-front chamber volume
-phase plug dimensions :)

I entered the data for the 2435 a while back. The prototype is still in the workshop...

Anyway here's a screenshot of Hornresp. I have marked the 7 T/S values it needs.

In addition for compression drivers you either need or have to make an educated guess regarding:
* Vrc - volume of the rear chamber
* Lrc - length of the rear chamber
* Vtc - volume of throat chamber
* Atc - area of throat
