I always wanted to have a clear idea of the flair to plug relationship in a 2405, without cutting one up so I had one X-Rayed.
Looking closely you can see the magnet through the iron pot also.

Short answer: insignificant. Long answer (alnico not tested, but I would doubt much difference):

I wasn't too worried about it getting demagged. I have hi resolution impeadance, frequency and magnatude plots from four of these taken after I replaced the diaphragms in them. I plan on remeasuring this one again just to check. If its mad I will just re-charge it.
I wish I could see though everything!
