Thanks, I'd read that review previously. I can't find the more extensive and detailed March 2009 absolute sound article online but conclusions were similar. The CLS 215 represent lots of bang for the buck if that is what you want. I bought 2 Presonus monaural EQ3B parametric equalizers to adjust out the referenced response aberrations.

Soundstage.com, a Canadian site, lists anechoic chamber measurements that are helpful in visualizing the "tighten up" tweaks.
