Greetings, I received a mismatched pair of JBL Control Monitors in a package deal along with a mint condition JVC JR S301 receiver for $100.00 thanks to a tip from a Forum member. One is a 4311, other is 4311B w/ tweeter dome poke. All drivers work, cabinets/grilles 50%, but it seems the two don't share any components in common! What should I do with them?

Thanks.

Considering what you have invested in them, I would consider them excellent garage speakers. Of course some might cringe at mis-matched speakers in any location.

Again considering price, hook 'em up and listen

Thanks you all. I guess doing anything else but keeping them as is and cranking them would just be wrong.

Its not WRONG - they are yours, so do whatever YOU want to do -

of course, it may take a while to find a buyer to sell your mismatched pair to ...
or to find folks who want to buy them singly ( maybe to add as a 3rd center speaker with their pair)
plus,
if you hope to find a single to match either of yours,
or to find a different matched pair to replace them with,
it would no doubt involve spending more money ...

Enjoying them is the cheap and easy answer!
