i have this pair of what I think are copies... of lagunas.. what do you think?
there is no access from the back , instead from the bottom, and the grill slides out the bottom.

Are these the pair that were on the Seattle craigslist mid December? Have you looked inside? There may be more valuable clues like the terminals, hardware, badges or lack of them, etc....:hmm:

Agreed! Either way, nice looking pair there. Since the question of Authenticity has risen, I am curious to see what is inside:bouncy:

Several options from this era are possible.

Full boat 830A Altecs with all drivers & crossover.
Altec 850A cabinets only loaded with buyers drivers of any brand of choice,
Custom or home built cabinets with drivers of choice. Glenn of California was one of the cabinet builders so look for a GLENN stamp. Cabinet dims were readily availible in books like "How To Build Speaker Enclosures" by Alexis Badmaieff and Don Davis.

Thank you for posting your exterior pics. I did notice that the last two Laguna sets posted here from the NW never had pics nor did the craigslist poster last Dec....:hmm:
