Links not working

How come when someone links to a thread here on another site, the link only works for the person posting it? Nobody else can follow the link. This seems to defeat any chances of spiders and bots following links and improving LH standing in ranks and searches. It's also very annoying.

Do you have a specific thread where this doesn’t work for you? provide link and I’ll see if it works on my end.
