034 & 044 tweeters, any significant differences? I am thinking of putting 044s in my L46s, any problems here? thanks

Same diaphragm AFAIK, but the 044 has a bigger magnet. The 044 is rated for higher power input. Electrically they are the same, so they should function the same on a given XO. Apart from the obvious issues with mounting I don't see any problems, but I'd be surprised if they sounded any different.

Thanks, I'm interested in your saying "I doubt they would sound any better". I really like the L46s, I find them very good for an inexpensive speaker, and on another pair I have, I have substituted 033s in place of the 034s and truly find improved listening. Do you know the 033s, 034s, and 044s efficiency ratings? thanks again

The 033 and the 034 are electrically different, and so will skew the XO and sound different for different reasons than you might expect. The 034 and 044 are electrically the same and will not skew the XO. The main difference in the 044 is it's power handling ability.
