A search turned up nothing on this mixing amp. From what little I've gleaned here and there, it's a very early germanium transistor solid-state amp. The non-A version apparently has a reputation for being very unstable, but I haven't found anything about the A variant. Currently three NTE121 and one Motorola M12955 transistors are installed. Any technical information on this unit would be greatly appreciated.

Can the germanium outputs be replaced with silicon parts, and is it desirable to do something of the sort? Am I better off just keeping it as an interesting shelf decoration?

It's not working?

I guess restauration would dictate not to change the design, the good thing about these old units is that the're all discrete transistors and this is something that will always be found.

Do you have a manual or schematic?

I haven't tried to power it up. So far I haven't turned up any documentation for it, and there are very few references online. A friend tossed it in with some other audio gear I was buying, so my knowledge is very limited.
