I have a pair of Dorian C-56's. One is the S-101 version with a wood grill. Anyone have an idea of what these are worth? They have a LE-14 and LE-175 potato masher style horn in them. Of course the horns are missing the mashers!~!!

I have a pair of Dorian C56, the S12 system with cloth grills. They are my first JBLs bought new in the late 60s. Still sound good.

Don't think I would seel them for any price. Well, I might trade for a Paragon. :-)

A friend of mine has a L-101, same system as yours. The woofer turned either yellow or orange. I forget. Anyway, the woofer, when new was white. Check yours. The change in color means that the material has dried out and it will crack if played too loud. That, the condition of the diaphragm in the LE 175 and capacitors in the cross-over will determine the price. Of course, the condition of the cabinet and the marble top are factors as well.
