I searched the archive and came across a suggestion that the 2410 used a unique diaphragm - lighter than the 2420/21. But with no real 2410 diaphragms available I was wondering if there is any real problem in using a currently available Ti 2425/26 diaphram in these? Is there a significant loss of highs, or nothing I'd notice? Any suggestions?

They list JBL Diaphragm D16R2410 - for 2410 on their website, but it is a special order, you could give it a try.

For $10 more I can get a new 2426 from Parts Express.

And you will have a 2426 with a ferrite magnet and titanium diaphram. It won't sound quite the same.
