Paint on JBL 4315

Do you know if the grey paint on the JBL 4315 can be take off and if under it's the same wood (walnut) that the AWX/BWX ?

Maybe.

Not sure if the factory applied the paint over normal veneered cabinets always.

I think that under the grey utility there is wood only and no venneer ...
I take off the idea of modify grey utility in walnut finition :(
