Hey,

im looking for a speaker that performes well in about 40-50liters netto enclosure...
It has to be very dynamic and impulsive.
It will be used between 30-600hz...
So the driver has to be capable of the low end.But I prefer a very quick and explosive attack, the deeper bass has to be played as well, but not as loud as the midbass.
I hate boomy bass...
In short words Im looking for a midbass that does a little lowbass in addition.
Something between a midbass and a subwoofer....

I got many AlNiCo-drivers at home, like K-110,K-120,D-140 etc.... So Im spoiled when its about serious midbass attack :bouncy:
But this driver should be a Ferrit, cause it'll be driven by unknown persons too.... etc...

Im looking forward for your suggestions and every answer!!

Thanks a lot,
Olaf

Good luck in 2 cubic ft. Maybe a 2203/124 or a 121 if you can find them. Run them in a box program to see what you get. I have 121's and they sound great but I don't know about running them that high. Lots of mass not that efficient, hard as hell to find. Both won't work for SR if that's your application. For SR you are going to need a bigger box anyway, no SR woofer is going down to 30Hz in 2 cubic ft.

But not very much response to 30hz.

I use them tuned to 41hz.

See my avatar.

Hello Olaf

Check out the ME150H. It looks like it will perform well in a 2 foot vented box.

Here's a thread on the JBL 252F. Perhaps it'll be of interest.

Hi,

thanks for your help guys!!

I doubt the 2206 will run in 2c-ft box...
What would you think about a 2214h??

What application are you using them for? 2 cu ft's close but a bit small for that woofer as well. Use WinIsd posted above to model them.
