Need to re-cone a LE5-6 and 2 125A. Questions.

1. Should I get the other LE5-6 done at the same time?
2. Should I get all units remagnetized?
3. Should I do the LE25-5 tweeters, too. The cones look OK.

And the BIG question: Who should do it? I had Orange County re-foam my L222 woofers and PRs. I don't think the bass sounds as good as it used to.

Personally, I'd get both done at the same time, since mid frequencies are so critical. Or keep an eye on eBay - LE5s are up there a lot. And according to this chart, the -6, -8, -10, and -12 are almost identical. Maybet the 104-H2 also? ('Not sure of the specs on those...) And I'm not sure you'd need to get the ferrite magnets remagnetized - I believe the alnico were more of a problem.

Well, I won an eBay auction of a pair of LE5-8. I have bought from the seller before. His stuff is good. And the chart shows the
-6 and -8 are the same except for color. The problem is the unit face is visible in the L120. I suppose I could paint the mounting plate black. :)

I am looking to restore the L120 and L100. Not just make them work. So I want to use the original units if possible.
