Evening, Grumpy,

Now, THAT is a heavenly collection of fine JBL goodies, if I ever saw one!! Well done, my friend, and many thanks for sharing that with us! :applaud::applaud: I love photos like that! Don't see the 4645's, though.... are they "slumming" in the garage??!! ;):D Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
Doc

Thanks. Yes, there's more JBL in the garage and elsewhere...
This grouping was what I was obliged to relocate temporarily.

Thank you for providing proof to the wife that having 5 or 6 pairs of JBLs is really quite modest.

L150a's I bought new, the rest were stray puppies that needed rescuing.

Most of the nuttiness has stopped, and many of these will go out as gifts or get
sold (eventually :)).

I have used that line a few times on the wife as well.;)

Thanks for the nice thoughts and the well-deserved head shaking :screwy:
and eye rolling . Fun to repair and compare, but some of these gotta go.

I'll start a separate thread if/when I decide what I want to do.

Cheers,

Don't do things you will _obviously_ regret someday ;)

Thanks for the pic, it's nice to know I'm not the only one obsessed with them...

L77..Those in-particular look beauteous. I refurbished a pair to that quality some years back - let 'em go on eBay. I wonder... :hmm:

These came from a former member (dohc...?)... part of a garage
clean-out, iirc.

They do have a light/dark patina that I happen to like and others think
looks like crap (almost looks like mixing heart/sapwood), but a close inspection
would reveal superficial defects in the veneer I've not addressed... and
probably won't. If someone nearby is interested in buying,
I can take/post much more illuminating photos. I wasn't intending to turn
this thread into a sell-a-thon, but PM's would be fine. I can even throw in
a spare passive radiator (lansalloy) and a new surround for someone to
practice on :).

They -are- fully functional and original (other than the newish surrounds),
heck, the serial numbers on the passive radiators are probably consecutive,
;) so that's plus.

There is a glut of them up for auction at the moment, with the same
orange-ish grilles, so I think Ebay can wait.
