Hello,
I have purchased two LE 175 + 1217/1290 horns. One of the two did
not have intact wax seals, so I opened the driver for a peek. I see that
while the diaphragm looks fine, the foam part that was attached to the
inside of the rear cup, is almost dust. Is the foam part available somewhere?
I am also looking for a frequency response curve for this driver/horn combination. Has anyone tested this configuration? My testing indicates that
the response dies between 10Khz and 11Khz, and has some significant spl changes throughout the band. (1000 -> 10Khz) as much as 8-9db spl in one
area. Soon I will take careful data and post for comments.
