I see plenty of old JBL mids for sale on line. Which will provide very fine sound between this woofer and tweeter?

Very much TIA.

I would use LE175/LE85 on a horn, this would be the same configuration as used in the L300.

If you wanted to keep all drivers around the same vintage, I would go with the LE85 or 375 on any of the older horn/lense combinations(HL91/92 etc). As to what would sound the best, go with the newer stuff. I'm sure somebody here will have better advice for the new stuff but if not, just do a search!

Years ago I used this combo and it can be quite pleasing.
