View Full Version : 2123 with 2122 cone !!

Hallo
I have a pair of 2123 reconed with the 2122 cone.
I read somewhere at the forum that that it do`nt work so well, but i ca`nt find the post.
The drivers needs to be refoamed so i wounder if its worth it ??

I had a pair of 2123s reconed as 2122s last year for use as mid bass drivers in my 4341s (replacing2123s, which didn't work so well in the stock system).

They're working good for me now!

If they are already reconed as 2122s, yes -
refoaming is certainly cheap enough so what have you got to lose?

Comparison of the 2123s that were in my 4341 when I got them vs the reconed as 2122s ...

BTW...we have a pair of new in the box 2122H'sThanks Mike for the 2122H's ;).

Just a refoam job to do to make them really as new :p
