My S8R speakers are too big for my new smaller living room. They are about 40" wide. Has anyone turned them on their side so they are now 42" tall and about 24" wide. That means you have to remove one of the top ledges to allowm it to lay flat. If done, should you put the passive radiator onthe top or bottom?
Thanks, Rick

I'm trying to imagine putting mine on their sides and any way that you do it is ugly. I certainly wouldn't cut any trim off of them. If you're committed to keeping them use some plywood or a box frame to get the edge off of the floor and be sure to reverse them so that the baffle is pointing into the room.
