I just posted a thread on the marketplace looking for a replacement driver or an unused SVA speaker.

However, knowing the rarity of the speaker and the driver, is there a way to repair the driver? One of the woofers is making a distorted buzzing noise on some frequencies.

I bought the speaker for cheap, but i actually really like the sound of them. Any help will be greatly appreciate it !

I think this woofer may still be in and out of availability directly from Harman. I know SVA-1600 woofers were available just a couple months ago but the parts site doesn't show any at the moment.

Have you tried emailing them to find out?

Direct from Harman will be expensive. I think the SVA-1600 woofers were ~$120 each.

Also if the buzzing noise might be the voice coil rubbing due to worn/stiff/rotten foam, you should stop using the speaker. They might just be due for new foam.

hey, thanks for the reply. I called harmon, and they said they did not have any.

as for the surround, i thought it was rubber, so it can't possibly rot can they?
