I had bought new crossovers from Seaman last year, and I'm finally ready to install them inside my 4350's. In the process, I was thinking of rewiring the internal connections from crossover to drivers. I don't want to waste money by buying the wrong cables, but I can spend a little bit, say up to $500. This would include the external connection wires going to my dual power amps as well. The distance from my amps is about 5ft, so that 20ft of wire in addition to the internal wiring required.
What exact specification of wire can you guys recommend? Should I use the same wire for internal and external connections?

OK, I'll bite. I'd probably use something -like- this:

and tin the wire ends that go into the drivers... if for no other reason
than so I can use or create a color code to follow.

As to external wiring, use whatever floats your boat... it's only 5 ft. :smthsail:

Use whatever you want. If it were me I wouldn't bother doing much over the wire gage in the inductors used. On the outside I always use good old 12ga even though for 5 ft lengths it's overkill.

As you can see I am from the wire is wire school of thought.

Alternative would be to leave well enough alone. If you do rewire be real careful with what goes where especially on the potentiometers. Watch the Polarity to the drivers as well. Very easy to make a mistake.
