Hi all
I have a problem with my JBL 4430.
One speaker plays OK, the other one sounds more quiet. I mean both 2235H and 2421A work, you can hear music... it just doesn't produce the same sound level as the other one. I have to adjust the balance on my preamp by about -5db / +5db, to get the same sound level from both speakers.
What might that be? Do i have a crossover issue?

Many thanks for any help.
George

1) rule out gear upstream (i.e., swap wires L<->R speakers).
2) rotate biamp switch at speaker input panel a few times (can get dirty).
3) rotate L-pads (listen for sudden jumps/drops in volume vs. position).

It was the L-pads.
Had done nr 1.
Thanks grumpy, you made my day :D
