4311 ... different poti´s ??

i noticed at my jbl 4311, that they have really rar potis?

what are the differences about 4311 and 4311A .... is it possible that i have a 4311A ???

To clarify what you're asking: Are you referring to what appears to be slightly different knobs on the pots? Really hard to tell from that photo but it looks like the face on yours are recessed? Can't say I've seen any like that before, but then I'm not a 4311 aficionado, either.

yes i mean the knobs :) ... sorry for my english, i do my best:bouncy:

i will take on evening a better picture, .... what i see, is all the knobs on the 4311 looks like the picture from www (*edit* ... now i see, the picture is deletet) hmmm... .... but the knobs on my 4311 looks different ;)

iam curious about this :D

today i take a look inside of my JBLs

the are 2212 - LE5-2 - LE25 drivers in both

in mid chamber is no insulating wool ??? ... normal?


the crossover is very small in contrast of JBL L166

the are 2212 - LE5-2 - LE25 drivers in bothit seems that during a period 4310/4311 were indifferently supplied with LE5-2 or 2105


in mid chamber is no insulating wool ??? ... normal?chamber is stuffed with fiberglass.

my 4311 are fully original... the user for me buy them and do never anything at this wonderful speakers

theres no fiberglass in chamber! ... should i put some in???

*edit* which woofer is the better one? 2212 or 2213? ... i love my 4311 the sound is great.... but iam interessted :-)
