All I can tell is that they have the slant-plate acoustic lenses and [presumably] compression drivers/horns. I state "presumably" because I have seen them used with the LE-5 type midrange drivers.
Can you provide some more info on drivers, crossovers, etc?
BTW, they look to be custom-made, and very nice looking!
AND, how do they sound?

they have the s8 system in them but i was told that they where at a ces show for jbl and mac

How are they attached now? My 300s (same lense) used velcro. How ' bout some pics without the grilles? How do they sound???

Not typical hook & loop velcro, but the sturdier, plastic version you see on the EZ-Pass applications & similar.

im looking for a new center channle speaker that will keep mup with these jbls. my system is, a denon avr-4806 rec. denon dvd-3800bdci. jbl s8 system left and right fronts velodyne d-18 sub, center channle klipsh rc-7 klipsh rf-7 rear left and right, back speakers klipsh in ceiling cdt5800-c.
all running in 7.1. i replaced a pair of klipsh lascalas with the jbls and god do they stomp!!! crisp and clean and so clear and loud.but my center speaker just cant keep up. thinking about using a jbl 4311 single for a center channle

I have JBL EC35 center and it does and good job of keeping up with my JBL loaded "K horns" and L88 surround speakers, I have also thought of using a JBL43XX or 44XX for a center. Give it a try and let us know how it works out.

basically big JBL Studio Monitors ...
basic woofer/mid/horn/slot systems - 4341/4343/4345 (and probably 4333 3way)
and newer Monitors like 4425/4430/4435/etc

4310, 4311, 4412, etc. Any one of them would be good for want you want to try.
