First off, I get a little carried away when I start a project, and forget to take pictures of the beginnings. Here are a few pictures of my rack I am building. First off, I didn't build the carcuss. I did build the rear backing boards. What I am bringing to your attention, is my air filtration system. It is designed for my BGW 500D I so painstakenly rebuilt. The pictures are of the airbox with & without the filter installed. I used only wood dowls for the airbox assembly, no screws. There is also a few pictures of the air intake tunnel. This item will be painted, and weatherstrip installed. The weatherstrip will be located on the rabbited edge of the intake tunnel, then that will couple it to the amplifier air intake. I know I'm knit picky, but thats just me. I have more projects than just this one going on. So I will update this as I progress. I've also included a picture of the back, so you can see the exhaust fan system that will be installed later. I'm using only double ball bearing fans, that are grommet mouted for fan isolation. I Hate fan noise... Note: this project is only part way done...

You can hold a lot of gear in 36 space units.
What else are you going to be putting into them?

Are you building a studio...it looks like a producers desk.
