I am working on a 6233 300 watt/channel amp from the 70's. I need a MSD7000 part. A TO-92 transistor used as a diode with the middle leg cut off. I have not been able to find them. JBL doesn't have the part number anymore, part #52219. Any help or a substitute is appreciated. Thanks.

The MSD7000 isn't manufactured anymore. What about http://nte01.nteinc.com/nte/NTExRefSemiProd.nsf/a6717b3819c6a23485256a1c00529259/4befaa9d782a655685256a78007d255f?OpenDocument

Thanks guys. I tried the one from Mouser. It was a super micro mini part as small as half a matchhead if that. No leads I can see. I think it has a different application. I did come across the NTE276 as a sub somehow but wasn't sure if it was correct. I have some questions out to suppliers to ask about it. It is much larger and would have to be mounted creatively. Lets hope someone has a few they will let go of, or another amp I can get for parts would be great too. Thanks again.

I'll be going over to my dad's tomorrow...I'll see if he has any MSD7000 around.
