The Transducer Parts List shows no replacement diaphragm for LE-85, but D16R2421, diamond-surround aluminum, presumably, for the Pro 2420.

Is the 2410 diaphragm an original LE-85 equivalent?

- I'm confident the answer is no .
- The 2410 diaphragm is not the same as / and is not a recommended "Goes Into" replacement diaphragm for the 2420/le85 .
- I believe it's dome is lighter with fewer voice-coil windings .

- If one must have a Higher Powered tangential surround ( FWER ) , see if GPA will custom make you a pair using your ( user supplied ) older JBL, phenolic or plastic diaphragm rings ( from cast-off JBL diaphragms ) .

>< cheers :)
