hello eranxx, and welcome to the board.

im sorry i cant help you with your system, only thing i can tell for sure is that the tweeter used on your speakers is not a jbl, but very likely from electro voice. as seen here on the EV patrician (http://www.audioheritage.org/images/misc/ev/EVBrochure_11.jpg).

how do you like these speakers? crazy? id say they dont look that crazy, but rather very reasonable!
wich is big.
please tell us something about them.

:)

cheers,
mikey

What the lens on top of the speaker I’m sure that says JBL or is the JBL professional logo. Thou it is bit blurred and distant on the picture.

Whoa bugger! You need to look closer at the bass mid drivers! Foam is cowed up all around each bass driver.

It looks like edge foam as gone thou it could be the gasket around the edge of the bass driver? If only the picture was bit more decent. It looks like camera phone?

Whoa, buggery boy - looks like some kinder custom collection of drivers and stuff - specially with the lenses sitting wrong like that!

We can see its a JBL 2308 lens, guess that its a matching JBL horn (2307?), and it may even be a JBL woofer ... (Not a bass-Mid driver!)

But the cabinet??
Home brew kit, I'd say - if not by the current owner, then by a previous owner (or built for hire).

But its not quite right ... ...

You see, normally the ring end of the horn is mounted against the INSIDE face of the baffleboard, not against the outside like this one is ...
and with it against the inside face, the lip (end of the horn) usually winds up being flush against the face, so you don't need spacers to hold the lenses proud of the baffleboard.
Also, where is the port? it looks somewhat like a big 2 way with that horn added on the top ... think 4320/L200, etc ...
but those speakers would have a port or two.

Do the individual speakers work and do, collectively, they sound go? Do you like them?
