I have had a pair of old VOX Winston speakers for 27 years and the cabinets are in pretty sad shape... and my wife is tired of them taking up space in the garage. I had sold the horns separately (they had been pulled out and housed in separate cabs) about 10 years ago, but pulled the backs off the cabinets and found 2 D 130 / V90 speakers in each cabinet. They were all reconed with JBL kits in the 70s and are in fantastic shape. I'm going to Craigslist the cabs for cheap, and I am wondering about these may be worth. I have 4 of them, plus JBL N1200 / V90 crossovers (1 needs work) & an Altec N809-8A Crossover that I used with them for a while.

I haven't found any info on this model variation. They look like standard D 130s - but with the Vox badge proclaiming Custom Design By JBL for VOX.

Does anyone know about these

When I worked for the Thomas Organ Company (about a block from JBL back then) we made some of the VOX and Moog equipment and yes the D130s were used in the Winston Churchill PA units along with the horns and serpentine slant plates.

Would you be interested in selling just one speaker or is it a package deal? Either way, how much money would you be asking(for 1 or both)?
