My GF family has probably turned the volume up a little too much on an older pair of Pro III speakers, Woofer foam is gone on both. Are they repairable? are they worth it?

Thanks

Mark

Woofer form kits are like $30, plus your labor.
Chances are you can get them a pair of BestBuy type JBLs used off Craigslist for maybe $50-75
Maybe these - wire is included!

Or a pair of L20T3 for a wee bit more ...

thx, they were temps until the $10 Thrift shop Infinity speakers were fixed which they were as of 3 days ago. Those along with a reralatively new to me :) JVC Receiver were installed making her dad quite happy. The question is do I just part out tweeters and cabs or try to fix. I have no current neds for them. Only special redeeming quality about these is I bought the matching passive sub to make them Pro III Plus. ALthough a nice set up and maybe just a tad better than my 250TIs just don t have a need for them

what to do? I have 1 good spare o match them...anybody have any blown tweeter units? make me an offer I guess
