JBL SA 660 in Gold

There was some discussion about SA 660's in Gold. I just dug up a picture of one that I sold about 10 years ago. This is a picture the actual unit. Notice the ganged controls that the 600 didn't have and the power switch differences. All the lettering and the color was pretty much the same. I had a sa600 and a black sa660 at the same time.

I never knew they made them in gold. I had an SA600 and and SA660 at one time myself. From what I remember they were better than most of the solid state amps that were made in the late 60's anmd early 70's.

Very interesting. I have never seen a gold one before. I have a fairly early sa660 and it has the greenish sa600 chassis rather than the later gray

I am selling a JBL SA 660 Black. The unit looks near mint but unfortunately isn't working right now.
I have owned this unit for over 20 years and didn't sell it at that time because it was not working perfectly. I am considering selling it now in as is condition.
I will post some new pictures. and alert readers when I relist it.
