So - I don't have any experience with horns/tweeters as I've never dealt with them - I'm a bass player.

I bought a set of speakers nobody wanted (they were covered in blue carpet :P) and surprise surprise, there's altec stuff all over the place.

The bass cabinet (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/n662731058_226225_5407.jpg) had an ER-15 (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/n662731058_226226_5781.jpg) in it - hooray me! Been using that baby for all it's worth.

(I apologize for the bad pic quality from here on out...)

However, the horn (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/Photo5.jpg) that was in front of the (busted :( ) crossover is what puzzles me - the front (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/Photo6.jpg)'s got a big Mantaray (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/Photo7.jpg) logo on it...

and the back, a big peavey (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y167/itamae/Photo4-1.jpg) logo.

So, I'm confused. What is this? I know it might be simple, but I don't know the first thing about horns...

Thanks in advance for any info :)

Looks like an Altec Mantaray horn mated to a Peavey 22A compression driver?

Other than the logo on the very front of the horn, is there any additional writing anywhere on the horn itself? A model number perhaps?

Best,
- Mike

Not that I can see : just the mantaray logo, and underneath it "Altec Lansing Constant-Directivity Horn"
