L166 performance

Anybody like the L166s? What is their studio monitor # designation or equivalence? How would the L166s compare with L100s?

nah, no thoughts ...
you've already gotten lots of feedback in all the other threads you started,
I suspect it time to pick something ... just make a decision ...

besides, if you don't like it, you can always sell it and try another ...
there are LOTS of neat JBL speakers out there to try!

I recieved my L96s, they will need surrounds. I have two more rooms to do. No ideas on the 166 vs 112 vs 100, are you sure?

L112, L166, L100 ... in that order... my personal ordering for home listening.

all have similar mid drivers, but are voiced differently, for different reasons.

L100 - for me, too colored for everyday listening in my living room.
L166 - nice tweeter... some prefer the 066 to the 044 in the L112.
L112 - like the bass driver, and it's still serviceable... most likely component
to need maintenance.

Frankly, I listen to my L96's more than the L112's... hope yours turn out well.
