2416H horns: What's the difference between the 2 versions?

Have been discovering the joys of the horn tweeters (have been a planar guy for years) and have noticed there is an updated horn for the 4425s called the -1 series.

That is, the original issue horns were the 2214H but all the replacements are 2214H-1, which I assume is an update of some sort. Nothing on the JBLpro website regarding why this was done.

Can anyone enlighten me as to any sonic benefits of updating my drivers or their opinions of the 2 versions?

The 2214H and 2214H-1 aren't horns - those are the 12" LF speakers! I'm not sure what's different between them...

Thanks, John, I stand corrected. The intended query was for the 2416H compression driver *not* the 12" bass speaker.

The question was written correctly, however, are there any audible differences?
