View Full Version : Tangerine phase plug unglued

I'm in the process of putting new diaphragms into my 808-8B's and one of the tangerine phase plugs has come unglued. What sort of adhesive does one use to remedy this situation?

Hi there,

- Check out this thread on regluing tangerine phaseplugs . (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12933&highlight=glue)

- A note; these days, moldyoldy posts ( as "bfish" ) almost exclusively over at Todds' Altec-Users-Board (http://www.hostboard.com/forums/altec-users-board/).

Thanks for your speedy reply Earl. I was thinking a two part epoxy would be the thing to use but thought it wise to double check.

Thanks for the heads up on the Altec Users Board, I actually discovered this a few days ago and registered right away.

I used superglue. Simple.
