I'm new here, so hello everybody,

I have a very well kept PARAGON. IMO it looks new, and other than replacing one of the xovers back in the late 60s, it works flawlessly.

Question: Is there an easy way to get a complete ID of this unit without taking it apart and if I do have to do any disassembly where do I need to go first?

I'm making this inq. in lieu of a consideration to sell and was also attempting to place value.

Thanks

Well,Coupla different ways-depending upon the era of production.

Looking under the right side on the bottom should reveal a water decal with the serial #.Also by pulling upwards on the top portions of the legs where the mid frequency horns are mounted will reveal a serial # stamped .The later ones had plastic identification placks on the rears of the cabinets. The later ones also had cutouts for the energiser amps.

You probable should open it up to see what woofers are in there and take pictures for the potential buyers to see .The more valuable units have the 150-4C woofers inside.
