That Citation 16 looks to be in nice condition. I always liked the Celestion SL series - great sound for their size. I have a pair of the SL 6s in my basement with blown woofers due to a power amp that went south on me.:(

I sure wish I could find new woofers for them or get them repaired.

I have a Harman-Kardon Citation 17S pre-amp (gray, mostly blank front panel like yours) and a matching 16AS amp (again, gray, mostly blank front panel, with "series A" on the back label). I run it to ADS L810 speakers, and feed it with a Technics SL-1200 mk2 pk (the black one). I also have a McIntosh MC-250 amp fed by a C-27 pre-amp. Even though the L810s are efficient so the 50 wpc of the MC-250 easily hits a good sound level with the volume at 12:00, and I get the same with the 17S volume at 9:00, the H-K still sounds much better and is the one I have in line.
