I am not a customer for these, but you have one of my pet peeves in your auction. Instead of putting in your location, you typed 'The best vintage gear" instead. These are expensive and heavy speakers, people will want to know where you live. Just put your city and state in the location space.

Don C If you looked RIGHT BELOW the "location" you'd see "country/Region" and the word "Albany". There's an Albany Ga. and an Albany NY. that I know of. If it really peeved you that much you'd check some of my other auctions and see if you could solve the "mystery" of where the speakers are located.
Location The best vintage gear!
Country/Region United States /Albany
You just committed two of my pet peeves ...laziness and stupidity.

PS the laziness and stupidity was a joke!

I'm lazy, but not stupid...
"Location The best vintage gear!"
"United States /Albany"
United States - maybe...
Albany - most certainly not...
:p
As for mysteries, I prefer novels to ebay posts :)

$1000!!! Somebody shoot me now! I parted out a pair of identical speakers 2 weeks ago for $1500+!!!!!!! Those were missing one 414z woofer and had cat scratches on one cloth grill!
Why do I have to part speakers out to make any money????

Yea, I heard a pair of 4313's went for only near $200 today - they were up and gone before the eBay post was dry!
Somebody got a deal - I hope they 'preciate them and don't "part them out!". What a shame that would be...

and had a chance to pick them up for the $200 "BIN". I passed (obviously). Too many cosmetic issues, etc.

But boyhowdy, they've been used!!
- 066's are BOTH dented.
- LE5-9's are BOTH dented (sheeze...)
- LE10A's need resurround (not a worry)
- and the cabinets look to have been used for "Bon Voyage" with mini champagne bottles...
Grill cloths, anyone?
Poor things need a good home and some TLC!

Too many other projects on the "refurb" slate to take on another. I'm dabbling within a vintage set of mirror imaged Bel Aires at the moment.

This is the 4th go around with this pair! The 1st time they were $500 buy it now! Tweeter will be $200 to repair, Woofers $85 w/labor if they don't need to be reconed. Then you have at leat 6 hours in the cabinets!
