Studio Monitor 4412 Tweeter

Hello

I have a set of JBL Studio Monitor 4412s and I just blew a tweeter. I contacted JBL and got the part number 035TIA, and after shopping around a bit the lowest price I could find on a replacement is around 160 bucks. Are there any alternatives to my situation? Is there a different tweeter I could use that will fit the 4412 cabinets that might be a little bit less expensive?

Just curious. I want to make sure I explore all my options before spending 160 bucks.

You can get singles or pairs on ebay for less than that, sometimes 100 dollars for a pair. I've seen singles as low as 60 bucks.

035TIA's are very common on eBay. Check it out.

Is the 035Tia the updated part? I thought those used the 035Ti

The only difference is the input leads are together on the new, opposed on the old. You might have to make small notch for the terminal if you get the different one but they both sound the same.
