Ok I've managed to come across some really vintage parts, and am deciding to rebuild the front three channels (at least) and eventually all 7 channles.
I need some recommendations,
I want to mono tri-amp (using AB System 713's) my left, cnter and right front channels initially.
what I have availablel formerly used in a theatre and inPERFECT shape
2404J Baby cheeks...8 ohm
2446J (16 ohm) compression drivers with custom hotns from theatre (may go 238X horns)
2202H 12: drivers (8 ohm)

2240H (8 ohm) for sub reinforcement

The 2240H is driven by A AB International 813 300wpc x 2 bi-amped

In the theatre the first three were driven by the AB International 713
@ 300 wpc (2202H 12"woof)
@ 150 wpc (mid 2446J compression driver horn)
@ 150wpc at to hi freq 2404 baby cheeks.16 ohms
Then for bass reinforcement: then use of a 2240H 18" driver with an AB International 813 bi-amped to 600W through brdiging.

Has any one got some suggestions for plans and suggest x-overs to use these speakers like the former museum did. I will not post the museum name, but will discuss it with folks off the forum personally.

Iniitially I want to either build or work with someone to build boxes from baltic birch and veneer to build some really stunning speakers to drop these speakers in and use them at home for my initial front three channels. Afterthey are complete for the front three, them at least 4 more to make a drop dead biamped system drivrn by my decoupled denon amo.

I still have 3 full arrays hanging to get, so I need to figure out how to use these in my side and rear arrays, as wekk as picking out biradial 2"horns
What are suggestions the guys? larry cell 812-470-0179

What size cabinet and port tuning are you planning to use for the 2240?

Also, what frequency do you plan to crossover at to the 2202's?

Hi Larry,

- With those components in hand; I'd look to John W(s)' Big Blue 4-ways (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12671), (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12671) for some design inspiration .

- Note 1, for the tweeter duties, he eventually did "turn-out" some round horns on his lathe & then used 2407Hs for the UHF drivers.
- Note 2, he kept these and instead sold his 4345 work-ups . You might want to pm him and get the low-down about that decision .
