Hello
After searching the net, contacting JBL with no ssucces, I come to you for help.
I have been given a pair of JBL TLX 320 mk 2, which sound ok, but I have a problem with the woofer section.
The left one has the dome flatten, I did get it to its normal shape by using a needle, however since its paper like, it's lost the aspect of new domes.
My biggest problem though, is the right one. As previously stated, it's been a give-away, and as such performed ok, but wanting to go beyond the first impressions, I took a look at them without the cover, and there the horror, the right woofer had been replaced by a car woofer that barely fits.:banghead:
Now I thought that I might find out the specs of the woofer, by looking on the back of the left one, which is original but with the flattened dome.
Niet, no name except some numbers tha make no sense with a google search except another forum where a guy has the same problem, but didn't solve it.
Could any of you give the specs of the woofer, the brand, whether it's Audax, JBL, or other OEM....
Thank you for your help!
Best regards from France

Hi Christ-y,

I did not have a direct JBL link, but you can magnify and read it all.

Danke Peter,
So the woofer is HP 170JLB.
Is it the same for the MK2?
I tried finding out something about it but nothing.
Could you tell where I might find it or a good equivalent?
Thank you!

Unfortunately I am not familiar with this type of speaker.
A foto of the naked speaker would be helpful. May be it is an Audax?

Made in France ... JBL uses AUDAX!
By optical comparison I took the AUDAX HP170MO, see picture.
But I would simulate all AUDAX 17 cm speakers in a program. So you can find YOUR best choice.

Good luck!

Thank you!
I'll try to figure it out, if not it's a change of speakers for me.
Best regards, and thanks again!
