I'm the original owner of one of these (circa 1973) and it's still in like-new condition having been in storage off and on for many years. It's not a high power unit (rated at 33watts/channel into 8 ohms) but I always thought it produced clean, fabulous sound and it's built like a tank. Just wondering: Is this unit still considered desirable or is it truly over-the-hill?
I might be upgrading to separates for my main system, but was thinking of setting up the Sansui in another room with four smaller JBL's (L46s or L86s).
