Hello !

Germany needs your help !

I want to restore a pair of Altec Lansing Model 14.I only have the crossovers and the cabinets !

Now i need help to find the right horns, woofers and the driver units !

If i donīt can get the original parts what about alternativ parts other producers !

It would be of graet to help me

A lot of folks buy used drivers in unknown condition off ebay and similar places, then find out they are out of spec and need rebuilding to get the original sound out of them. That can be frustrating.

If you prefer refurbed or newly built replacement parts, Great Plains Audio is the place to go for remanufactured and replacement Altec parts, and Altec owners on the forum here have spoken pretty highly about the quality of the work. I gather its a small operation, and they prefer paper mail and phone calls ... as opposed to emails ...

For what its worth, I am not affiliated with GPA and don't even own any Altecs right now ...

Great Plains parts are tooled on the original manufacturing equipment. My model 19's have their diaphragms and LF drivers. You may have trouble finding the Mantaray horn and driver, though. Here's a picture of the correct horn .
