I expect I know the answer, but I thought I thought I'd ask anyway. I noticed that the cone in one of my spare 123A-1 woofers looked a little low and the surround seemed to be sagging as it sat face up on the bench. I picked it up and pressed the cone up with my thumbs to where it looked right and saw that the spider has separated from the coil former all the way around. Anyone ever successfully repaired this failure?

Thanks

The "Goes Into List" (http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/Transducers%20Parts%20List/Transducer%20Parts%20List.pdf) shows that C8R2212 kit is available ($272). Find a JBL reconer in your area, or ship that basket off to edgewound (http://audioheritage.csdco.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=2021).

It's a pretty easy fix if you are handy with a tube of super glue. If it is a simple separation this is what I would do otherwise if the spider has torn you will need to pull the cone assembly and re-foam and re-spider. The other option is you will need to fit a new cone kit. Talk to Edgewound, he will put you right.:)
