View Full Version : Is a Denon POA-A1HDCI enough amp for a B460?

Specs on Denon's web site ( http://www.usa.denon.com/POA-A1HDCILit_1219.pdf ) say 2 channels bridged are 300W into 8 ohm; 500W into 4 ohm. B460 is used strictly for 2.1 music, no LFE HT.

I thought it was recommended to have 400-600 watts for the older JBL subs ... my Citation 22 in bridged mono mode has roughly 400watts just for my b380 ... (2235 driver) ... I would think you'd want more for the 2245 -
You don't need to run it LOUD with that kind of power, but you want the reserve ...
